Hand Chiseled

 

Hand made finish made by hammer and double-facet cape chisel. The surface of the tile is chiselled by inclined point blows, all given to the same direction, in order to blow up the smooth surface. The final effect is an uneven surface scattered with short diagonal furrows, like “rain”.
