GEOLOGIC – STRATIGRAPHICAL FEATURES
The “Piasentina Stone” is a type of sedimentary calcareous rock of secondary origin which means that results from compaction and re-cementing of pre-existent calcareous materials.
PETROGRAPHIC COMPOSITION
The “Piasentina Stone” is petrografically classified as a bio-sparite, tending for the variety with finer granulometry to be included in biomerites.
